Have you heard of Sugbo Mercado? Have you been? If you haven't, or you're not sure what 
it is, then here's a little run down of the alphabet on what's to love about Cebu's First 
Weekend Food Market, #YourWeekendFoodMarket!

A - Awesome: How can a weekend food market that’s packed with stalls of different kinds
of food not be awesome? Come on.

B - Bands: Acoustic bands come and play and bring their own twists to current chart 
toppers or timeless classics.

 

C - CAYGO: or Clean As You Go. We encourage the community to clean up the table after 
they've had their sumptuous meal.

D - Desserts: Already ate dinner? No problem! Sugbo Mercado also has a wide selection 
of dessert stalls to choose from

E - Enjoy: You go there to enjoy. No drama needed, please.

F - Family/Friends: Always a great place to bring your family or friends or both.

G - Gastronomical: Need we say more?

H - Happy: The food will definitely make you happy. Plus the bands, the ambiance, the 
company? You’re guaranteed to be leaving with a smile on your face and a big ass belly.

I - International: Sugbo Mercado has a wide range of cuisines. From Mongolian to Italian, 
Japanese to our very own Filipino dishes, there are many different flavors from around the world to try!

J - Juice: There are lots of fun and exciting drinks to choose from!

K - Kalories. Karbs. Kolesterol: They're all spelled wrong, because they do not exist
on weekends.

L - Lechon: Craving lechon but there’s no party? Worry not. It’s here.

M - Music: Aside from the amazing bands who play for us every night, we have a playlist 
dating back to the 70s. Don’t worry. We mix in a lot of current music as well so anyone, no 
matter what age they are, can listen to some of their favorite tunes.

N - Numerous: Numerous everything! Numerous tenants, numerous people, numerous 
food, need we say more?

O - Overwhelming: It is always an overwhelming experience. Many things can happen 
here. Someone just said that they met their significant other just because they love the 
same food and visited the same booth every weekend. Another said that they always love 
seeing friends walking around and even making new ones.

P - Porn…Food Porn: It is not Sugbo Mercado without the food porn. Our tenants go 
through extra effort to make sure your food is Instagram worthy!

Q - Queen City of the South: Featured on the name itself, Sugbo Mercado is becoming 
another favorite area of the Queen City of the South.

R - Roam: A tip is to roam around and see what's in store for you in any of our 50 stalls!

S - Sharing: Share the fun, share the food, share some chairs, sharing makes everything 
better.

T - Tenants: We wouldn’t be Sugbo Mercado without our tenants. Each weekend come 
back and see familiar faces, say hi to tenants who you always visit, make friends with the 
new ones!

U - Upbeat: It’s always a good time here in Sugbo Mercado. From the laughter to the food 
to the music, we do our best to keep everything upbeat and positive.

V - Vibrant: The life in Sugbo Mercado is always there. The lights give off that festival-like 
glow, the food is always mouth watering and some are even in different colors!

W - Weekend: We’re definitely your favorite weekend food market. Open every Thursday-
Saturday at the Garden Bloc of Cebu IT Park.

X - X-citing: Excitement is always have when you’re here. Be excited that there are new 
stalls every week and different bands playing!

Y - You: Our customers. Without you, there would be no Sugbo Mercado. You come in 
every weekend and share your good vibes and happy experiences and that’s what keeps 
us going!
