SugBOOM Mercado

My! Look how we’ve grown! It’s still all too amazing how we’ve already branched out well within our first year. Our second location, Sugbo Mercado - Cebu Business Park (CBP), has picked up quickly to pack up quite a crowd and following. Our vendors have also swelled up to forty-seven in just a month since start of operations from our initial lineup of only thirty. Sugbo Mercado - CBP is also particularly exciting for us with the variation brought by twenty-seven of the vendors that are unique to that site. Some of our Garden Bloc regulars who have paid us a visit there have been highly appreciative of the new options and altogether different feel of CBP.

Our nightly foot traffic at IT Park still remains strong at an estimated 5,000 guests throughout the 9-hour, 5PM-1AM regular schedule and that’s every single night of our three-day weekends.   Everyone still has their old favorites and we have been welcoming new vendors in to bring our total to a staggering fifty-seven.

We’re on a steady trajectory with a lot of exciting new vendors on the waitlist waiting for a booth availability and/or product clearance. See, we also take distribution of same or similar products into consideration to allow fair exposure, market share and healthy competition by capping type at three booths.

We’re proud to have recently partnered with Globe Telecom to bring GoWifi services to our Garden Bloc- Cebu IT Park location, really soon, and hopefully to Sugbo Mercado CBP, as well. Also in the pipeline are brand launches and other promotionals.
